Dr. Darryl K. Webster, Senior Pastor of the Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church, is a passionate, relevant, biblically sound preacher and teacher. He has served EMBC for the last twenty-three years! Through his preaching and teaching, the church has grown from 200 members to over 2000 members!
Pastor Webster accepted his calling to preach in October 1983. He served the New Light Missionary Baptist Church as an associate minister faithfully for 13 years before being called into the pastorate. Pastor Webster is now becoming one of the most sought-after preachers and men’s speaker in the country.
Dr. Webster also serves as the founder of "Darryl K. Webster's Men’s Spiritual BOOTCAMP," which is a a nationally recognized men’s ministry that seeks to disciple men and reconcile them to God, family and the community. Since its inception in 2006, BOOTCAMP has successfully ministered to thousands of men nationally and has expanded to include a component for marriages, youth and incarcerated men. BOOTCAMP has been featured on Focus on the Family, C-Span, Rural Route Radio, local media outlets, and in two documentaries. It is now a model adopted by the National Baptist Convention of America, Inc.
Dr. Webster is author of the book entitled "Small Change, Great Impact." Thousands of copies have been sold to help many people across the nation. He has received numerous awards including the Governor’s Civic Leadership Award and multiple resolutions by the local Indianapolis City County Council. Dr. Webster is also a certified John Maxwell Leadership Coach and experienced adjunct professor.
He has been married to his beautiful wife and ministry partner, Sibyl, for thirty-five years. They are the proud parents of four children: Quincy, Kristin, Darrin and Kelli whom all serve in ministry. They are the grandparents of nine wonderful grandchildren.
