Discovering Your Purpose | Day 2 | Pretty for a Purpose

Esther 4:14 - Who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this.
Everything God does has purpose and intention behind it. He has a master plan, and every little thing has its proper place and function.
The biblical story of Esther is about a beautiful woman. God used Esther’s beauty and her background to fulfill His destiny for her life. Because of her beauty, Esther was chosen by King Ahasuerus as his new bride. Yet once she moved into the big house and got used to the luxurious lifestyle, a plot was made for the genocide of her people. Apparently, Esther had gotten so used to her new way of life that she didn’t feel like risking it in order to help her people. Mordecai, Esther’s uncle, reminded her of her purpose.
“Do not imagine that you in the king’s place can escape any more than all the Jews. “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place and you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this” (Esther 4:13-14). In other words, you are in the palace for a purpose.
God placed Esther in a strategic position at a strategic moment to fulfill her purpose for Him, not her own! Let’s view our lives through God lenses not our own.
